In collaboration with IthoDaalderop, MMID developed a compact and practical solar thermal collector system for the private market. Through the extensive integration of functions, MMID realised a sharp price-quality ratio for this solar thermal collector. Clever use of the housing materials enabled us to combine functionality, form and producibility. The result is an inexpensive, easy-to-install and low-maintenance solar thermal collector, with a highly efficient delivery of hot water at a very low energy cost. The ‘warm’ styling emphasises the desire for energy efficiency and comfort.
