Develop together with Boon Edam and Post en Dekker a new series of security access gates and capture the design language in a manual so uniformity arises in Boon Edam’s global product family.
Before starting with the design, MMID mapped Boon Edam’s brand according to a Brand-People-Products analysis. The result is a strong design language for Boon Edam, in which unity has been created to give all the products the same high quality appearance. The design language has been defined by MMID in a design manual.
During the design process of the product family, MMID was guided by the user experience with the product. With the help of models different concepts were tested. The end result is a series of innovative access gates called the ‘Speedlane Lifeline series’ which suits Boon Edam’s design language. Due to the design manual the design language can easily be applied to other products and services. The three parties have created an optimal product experience.
