Unilever asked MMID to create a tea machine concept which enhances the outdoor tea experience of consumers, whereby the taste is drawn from large tea leaves. MMID specialists developed, in cooperation with experts from Unilever, a new and patented application which quickly extracts flavour out of the tea leaves. Because of the flexible design of the demonstrators it was possible to test different working principles and to prove the feasibility of the new tea brewing method. Unilever further developed the concept into an advanced energy efficient brewing system.
