For our office Essen we are looking for a designer electronics to join our team. Do you like to manage projects independently, to surprise customers with your ideas and to shape the development of an interdisciplinary team? Do you want to experience a lively exchange with a colorful international team? Do you want to constantly learn about new challenges and develop them further?

So are you talented in:

You also feel responsible for the content and quality in product development. In an interdisciplinary product development team of designers and engineers you will develop integrated concepts for a product or product series. You understand the energy and dynamics of a professional organization like MMID and you do feel at home in this environment. We need you to be well connected with all your colleagues of the MMID-Group, but you will mainly work at our location in Essen.

Training

You will be intensively trained by our specialists. In our daily/weekly meetings, design workshops and interdisciplinary seminars, you will be presented with our design and development culture.

Who are you?

  • You live your life with heart and soul;

  • You are accustomed to a practical approach and like to build functional models;

  • You understand the customer demands and wishes and put that into a successful product;
  • You are creative and have strong problem solving skills.

What do you have?

  • You have a master or bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar;
  • You have practical knowledge of electronics, sensors, actuators, microcontrollers and embedded software;
  • You have relevant work experience in assessment of products, technical files is an advantage;
  • You have experience in ECAD tooling (for example Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCAD);
  • You are experienced in at least one programming language. Preferably C;
  • You have knowledge of international standards such as IEC, which is an advantage;
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and English, both spoken and written.
