We are looking for a designer to join our Electronics & Software team in our office in Essen. As part of the E&S team, you will be responsible for the integration of systems into the products that we develop.

You feel responsible for the content and quality in product development. In an interdisciplinary product development team of designers and engineers you will develop integrated concepts for a product or product series. You understand the energy and dynamics of product development and you do feel at home in this environment.

We need you to be well connected with all your colleagues of the MMID-Group, but you will mainly work at our location in Essen.

Conceptual development, proposing mechatronical, electronical or software solutions
Building Functional models, 3D Printing and Arduino programming or any other microcontroller programming

Requirements

You have a bachelor/university degree in mechatronics engineering / industrial design / industrial engineering;
You have good knowledge of your profession, design methods and industrial production methods;
You have at least 3-6 years of experience as a designer or engineer;
You have practical knowledge of electronics, sensors, actuators, microcontrollers and embedded software;
You have experience in EDA tools (for example Altium Designer, KiCAD);
You know how to use at least one programming language, preferably C/C++ and you know how to solve problems in it;
You have excellent communication skills in German and English, both spoken and written;
You have preferably knowledge of international standards (IEC e.g.)
Knowledge of Solidworks is an advantage
